hey after about a week with the app all of my music and ringtones and things that involve any kind of sound have gotten all squeaky and it sounds like they r going really fast wen i play them and all the voices in the music r super squeaky and i cant fix it do u have any ideas on how to fix it???

So to cleat the defaults on any app or home replacement go to settings/ apps /mange apps./ the look for the launcher and hit clear defaults. Once you see the list of apps. hit the menu button go to filter and select all. the one you need to clear is called “home”. let me if it worked

i also have the app installt as you said in your vid, but at the scene at 4:50 i have choose the false ..home and not the launcher and i choose also use by default for this action..noy my question is how to remove this to get the launcher new..?? thx a lot

I have read that too but honestly there is not telling what is coming with 2.1 or when its even coming out. This is pretty stable for enabling 5 screens

I have the GDE homescreen app installed on my motorola droid and the Hero theme which i like cause it has the phone button, contacts button, and menu button on the bottom of the screen. I also love all the features that GDE has but im still running 2.0.1 and the only thing missing is the 2.1 launcher. is there any way to instal thisl .apk 2.1 launcher while using GDE and still have the hero theme but with the 2.1 launcher instead of the old menu screen?

You wont want to do that. The official 2.1 doesnt have the new launcher. Its the same old drawer launcher.
