this feature works on all 3G ATT smart phones not just iphone. its the networks feature which vzw could never achieve.

Yeah and the funny part is if you look closely during the commercial, you notice that while he is on hold with whomever, he is surfing the net using a WiFi Connection (Look at the top of the iPhone’s screen for the icon) So who is AT&T Trying to kid? I have more than a couple friends with this “awesome” phone who i cannot call on a regular basis, or when i do the call drops. I personally have NOTHING against iPhone or a Mac, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND EVERYTHING THATS HOLY, LEAVE AT&T ASAP!!!!

Oh, and by the way, I DO NOT have an iPhone nor AT&T, But instead i have Verizon and a Droid Eris by hTC, and do not suffer from dropped calls (at least so far), and all this nonsense about not being able to surf and talk at the same time, is completely falsified!! If you would like some proof to back it up, i can post it I have ran AT&T’s iPhone and my Droid side by side in a Full Service 3g Area, and the results speak for themselves. Verizon loads pages and dowloads almost 25% faster!

Verizon’s network can’t do this. They might have broader coverage, but they’re sporting a dying technology: CDMA. This is the main reason the iPhone isn’t on Verizon, because it does not support CDMA. With CDMA, you can’t do the things he’s doing in the video.
