ok i just bought this phone an hour ago and im trying to import my numbers and etc.. but i can open the darn back part of the phone. now i see in this video he easily pops the back off but its not workin for me. <_< can someone help me plz

What you need is a user pass code for the phone and not unlock code.

You can not switch to sprint since it is not a gsm provider. You can 3g coverage only with the original provider, when you switch you will get only 2g.

so does this mean if i say buy a mutouch 3g and i think t-mobiles 3g network isnt up to par, but still like the phone i can say switch to sprint, while still getting 3g coverage

yes, you can do it with G1, and get data plan according to your contract with the provider.

omfg tht just happened to me today but instead i was on the bus and this gurl had my mytouch and the phone went to sleep again and she didnt tell me she keep trying and trying and press forgotten pattern and i have a gmail i just forgot wat i regristed it on im so pissed did you unlock it if so please help?

okay i dont wont to change to another service i just want to unlock my phone i enterd a pattern thing forgot it did it to many times dont have a gmail accunt now i remeber what it is and it wont take me to the pattern screen anybody know how to get back to that?
