“screw the nexus one, droid still the way to go”
I’m right with ya there
yes boss. you will be able to upgrade to 2.1 when it is officially released. Odds are you will get a little pop up that says THERE IS A NEW SOFTWARE PATCH AVAILABLE. DO YOU WISH TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL?
or something to that ilk,
enjoy!

Once the official update is released, do you know how I would be able to upgrade?
Yeah, the Droid should be getting the flash update first. can not wait.
the Flash was tested on the droid before the nexus one. there is a video from adobe on you tube that came out with droid using flash before the nexus one everyone just over looked it.

thanks man (moto droid)

to each their own, honestly.
i have both, and the Motorola blows the HTC out of the water. It’s worth the extra 100 bucks-because its newer software, bigger screen, more memory, more RAM, better touch screen, better reciever, FREE NAVIGATION, and such.
i also know alot of people with the Eris, who love it and wouldnt switch to the Droid…so like I said, to each their own.
I say Motoroa DROID for the win.

love your vids, should i go will htc droid or moto droid???
so is this update the official or did you root it? sorry for the noob question lol
about 2 years ago
actually the Nexus One doesn’t have flash natively. There is no Adobe flash plug in for Android yet, just Flash Lite / HTML5.
but yes. the DROID (and Eris, and N1, and MyTouch, and all the high end Android phones) will be recieving an upgrade to include Flash 10.1 this quarter
about 2 years ago
will the droid get flash like the N1
once the OFFICIAL Android 2.1 update is released, yes-it SHOULD offer the speech to text feature. These are just apps ported over from 2.1 on the N1
about 2 years ago
Looks good. What I’m interested in most, from getting a 2.1 update on my Droid is the speech to text feature for texting and/or email or any other app. Is that available with this update?
