Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Eris or a Blackberry?
Do you have a Droid or a Blackberry? What are the pros and cons of the phone you have? I have Verizon and I plan on getting a new phone this month, but I’m not sure which one I want. The HTC Droid by Eris and the Motorola Droid both look interesting to me. I like that the Motorola Droid gives you more storage, but I also hear Motorola phones usually have less signal, do you find that as an issue? Give me a review of the phones you have.

I heard it seemed bad at first but just takes some time to get use to. I believe I’m going to go pick up the Motorola Droid on Saturday.

The motorola droid has a keyboard, but it is a bad keyboard. You will more likely use the on screen keyboard rather than the physical keyboard.

I currently have the Moto Droid. I am VERY happy with it seeing that it is my very first android based phone. I have had many blackberries over the years and don’t find them to be anywhere near the droid. I went with the Moto Droid over the Eris for the fact that the droid has a 16gb SDcard built in and the voice turn by turn navigation. The droid also has the new google os which is 2.0. The eris only has 1.6 i believe. You can update it but it just seems like a hassle seeing that it’s new.

I have talked to a couple people that seem to like the Motorola Droid, but several here post they like the Eris, what is better about the HTC Eris?
I do like that there is a keyboard on the Motorola Droid. I love the keyboard on my current phone.

Unless you plan to get t*mobile the nexus one, will not be for you. There is an unlocked one but it won’t work with Verizon or Att. They say there might be one for verizon, but not until the Spring of ’10.

I have a full keyboard on my current phone, so the Motorola Droid has been the one I’m leaning towards so far.

I have the Droid Eris and I think it’s awesome. The only problem is that for the first few days you’ll have bad battery life. You need to learn how to close apps when you’re done with them, and learn how to turn off 3G when you’re not using it.

the htc droid eris is a great phone u just have to download the app killer so battery life isnt an issue

I actually bought the BB Storm2 when i came out and before my 30 days where up I returned and bought the motorola DROID. BB have always been good phones, but I needed a phone with FULL HTML browsing capabilities and that is just what DROID offers. The DROID also offers so much customization its ridiculous. I also chose the DROID for the physical keyboard.
Check out my videos. They show some of the stuff I have been able to install and customize

Thank you! So far I’m liking the Motorola the most. Still have until the end of the month before I go for the new phone.

Motorola droid!!!!! I have had 2 motorola phones and 3 lg phones. I found the moto signal to be just as good as the lg signal, if not better.

Thank you. I have heard that the Motorola phones usually do not get as good of a signal as other verizon phones. Do you have any signal issues?

i had the same problem actually i prevoiusly had a blackberry storm 1 and it was awful it was slow and just garbadge. i now own the motorola droid and it is the best phone on the market right now the blackberry storm 2 didnt improve much of anything so ive heard. the reason why i did not get the eris is because the screen wasnt as big and because the droid is verizon featured phone they will be issueing better updates for it and better applications for it. …DROID!!!
