Recently released in the UK, the HTC Magic the next vehicle for the Google Android OS. . . but how well it stacked up against its competitors? How long can it prevail before something knocks it off the shelf? HTC Magic – The Basics The first important fact about the HTC Magic, and the bit that said so, is the operating system: Google Android has. Since it is only the second phone line officially go on sale with Android, the HTC Magic gained a lot of trade and the interests of consumers. More importantly, the Magic's first HTC Android phone with a keyboard-less, touch-screen-only design, one thing that seems all the rage in 2009 function. It is certainly an eye-catcher for more than its predecessor, the G1, and the summary of the improved looks and still impressive power of Android is the HTC Magic a phone, in fact, very persuasive. Nokia N97 – Symbian, the real challenger for Android? But is not the only Android-based touch-screen gives the operating system, and Symbian is one of the heavyweights in the mobile world. It is safe to enter, the Nokia N97, the next Symbian phone with touch, some serious impact when it arrives. The Nokia N97, to be honest, easily outperforms the HTC Magic in terms of hardware features, with a 5-megapixel camera and 32 GB of memory installed, simply dwarfs the 3MP Nokia N97 and memory card memory HTC Magic. The great thing is, however, that to settle this debate is the interface, and in this area, the Nokia N97 is not so off contenders. It uses Symbian-touch, not the fully open-source version will come later in the year, and it remains to be seen how well the Ovi Store will be on the Nokia N97. Given how well the Android Marketplace, with its selection of downloadable applications, it is be difficult for the Nokia N97 it upwards. Palm Pre – War of the interfaces when the interface on the Nokia N97 can not beat the Android powered HTC Magic, what can? Well, there's a phone, its interface tops everything on the market: the Palm Pre. It has the slickest interface ever seen on a mobile phone, with elegant transitions and touch screen operation, not to mention the tightest integration of applications that has ever experienced. The WebOS interface that powers the Palm Pre is really a thing of beauty, and its hardware information at least on a par with the HTC Magic, it seems a foregone conclusion that it is located on the winner in this fight, yes? Well, that depends. Palm still very much make or break a product for Palm, and if it is not quite according to plan, they may in some insurmountable financial difficulties. Add to that the fact that there is still no news of a UK release for the Palm before (with some commentators starting to feel that if it does not get lead in the U.S., the Palm Pre never in the UK in given market), and it means that things are at the moment is the future for the Palm Pre simply not as rosy as you have the HTC Magic. . .
