The Apple Tablet has finally been announced and is called the ipad. It is basically like a really big ipod Touch or iphone. It will come in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB sizes. It has two versions the Wi-fi enabled version and the Wi-fi+3G enabled version. The 16GB Wi-Fi enabled ipad starts at $499.

This movie was included in cds demonstrating Apple’s vision of technology Integration into education in 1995. Notice the idea of a tablet with video conferencing capabilities. Does the promise for education still hold true today? The desktop computers in the movie look like 5260 or 5500 model that put parts of the movie in 1996 or 1997.
