how much was the phone plus tax at bestbuy. and are the plans at verizon the same as the plans on verizon wireless websit
about 2 years ago
by data i mean data plan. its $30 a month for adding data to your line. The 16gb microsd card is free.
What do you mean when you say you have to pay for data? Is it the 16gb card it comes with or the monthly payment for internet?
same issue with touch pro 2 as the original touch pro. After a 1 1/2 month of use it doesnt hold up the same.
when you buy the droid or any other smartphone you have to pay for data ($30) but you can always connect it thru wifi for faster speeds. dont know why though bcuz verizon network is fast.
This probably has an obvious answer but with the Droid, do you have to buy the internet for the phone or is it like the ipod touch where it detects wifi and you need a code or not if it’s free?

I’d be interested to hear your opinion on how solid the sliding mechanisms are on each. When I checked out the Droid in the Verizon store it felt like a well-built machine. I currently use a Verizon Touch Pro (XV6850) and the sliding, over time, has loosened and doesn’t feel as well-built anymore. Any takes? Or comparisons with the sliding mechanism on a Touch Pro if you’ve checked one out?

i agree, when i had my touch pro 2 i wasnt taking as many pics as before. speeds from wifi are much faster on droid. but i think that has to do with the processor again. thanks for viewing

Great video, first online comparison I’ve seen between these two phones. Looking forward to the “official” head-to-head between them. I’ve noticed that my Touch Pro2 has relatively few hardware buttons on the sides when closed. No camera button, “OK” button, etc. Any difference between this and the Droid? Not having an “OK/Confirm” button on the TP2, even when open, was a major oversight, IMO.
