i love my droid x but i dont wanna pay an extra 20 for this.
@donnyb DOES cost $0 if you root your phone and install a 3rd party tethering app !! It’s not as as good as the Verizon one feature but it does the job. you do the math
about 1 year ago
With all of that Concrete, any one but her would be lucky to get a reliable wifi signal from that phone! But the point was made as well as ever! Bravo Verizon and Motorola.

@niemeyer18 Did you give IT the evil eye, for a change?

A very cool feature. It costs an extra $20/month but it worth it if you are out and about and you need wireless internet for your laptop/netbook etc. I carry my phone around with my netbook and can get fast internet anywhere. Also works when your home’s internet is out. *I could even stick my phone in my pocket during my computer science class and use the hotspot to connect the school laptop to the phone’s wireless network instead of the school’s. Then I could go to blocked game websites* ^^

@donnyb It’s the same on all the carriers.

don’t just leave it on the bench next to you! Pick that phone up girl
about 1 year ago
@utego well it depends on how big your hands are because the phone is very thin but big. like im a big guy 6 ft 3 and 230lbs and i have pretty big hands and it feels a little big in my hands. i say go with a smaller droid like the incredible

that is a sick commercial!
I have At&t but they can’t market like Verizon does!
this 3g Mobile Hotspot feature costs money, but if you root your phone you can get an app that does the same thing, and it works on any other android phone, i have it on my Droid its called wireless tether for root users, its amazing

VERIZON JUST KICK ASS WHEN IT COMES TO ADVERTISING AND MARKETING
THEY SMOKE ANYONE ELSE ESPECIALLY “sprint” with their “the first” lame ass commercials
THEY EVEN MAKE ME WANNA BUY THE PHONE, EVEN IF IM NOT DIGGIN IT THAT MUCH, THIS IS HOW MUCH THEY ARE GOOD
about 1 year ago
@utego It’s a pretty hefty device in physical size with that big screen. I’d say head to a store and hold one for at least 10 minutes. Play with the features and such but keep it in your hand so you can see if it works for you. if not there are awesome Droid’s with 3.7″ screens or even 3.5″ screens that you may like.
