FFS people, LISTEN to what he says…….’you get VERY bright images with very little power’,
‘the device forms BRIGHT usable images without turning the lights off’

its expensive and impractical. though its a cool little gimmick in a kids toy kind of way. a projected image will never be as crisp and vivid as from an led backlit lcd screen, or perform decently in moderate/bright lit environments.

Minority Report is HERE!
jk, the concept has been around for quite a long time but as far as I can see it’s quite choppy, it needs improvement. perhaps a linux-based OS or a better processor?

Nice !!! But if you don’t turn off the lights, you can’t see a damn thing… So no daylight use.

I was expecting to be very impressed by the ipad today but wasn’t Now this IS impressive. It’s right that you have to see it in action to really understand how great it is. When I first started watching the video and saw it was projecting what looked like a big blurry image onto a piece of paper I wasn’t impressed.
I hope we see a whole bunch of products that lil ole end users like me can get their hands on in the near future.

I think they are missing a trick but not having a VGA or DVI input to allow connecting to a PC.

Its an exciting technology that has huge potential. What it needs is someone as enthusiastic as Jobs to promote it.
